Triathlon Scotland Exchange: AGM & Annual Awards

It is the time of year again when we have our AGM and host our coveted Awards ceremony where all your achievements as athletes, volunteers and coaches are recognised. We would love to see as many people attend this event as possible as your input into our sport is important to help shape and inform the way forward.

Please register by 10am Monday 19th November to let us know when you will be attending, this will allow us to finalise catering.

Please register for all of the people in your party by selecting the number of people who will accompany you (e.g. for the awards, your child, plus 2 siblings and 2 parents = 5 tickets).

Details and timings of the day

A more detailed agenda with all the appropriate papers will be sent out on 9 November but the outline Agenda is as follows:

10.30am – 11.00am: Member registration (tea, coffee & pastries)
11.00am – 12.30pm: Annual General Meeting
12.30pm – 1.00pm: Lunch for AGM attendees

1.00pm – 1.30am: Arrival of awards attendees (tea, coffee & cupcakes)
1.30pm – 2.00pm: Year of the Young person - inspirational athlete panel
2.00pm – 4.00pm: Volunteer & Legends Ranking Series awards
4.00pm – 4.30pm: Event close

Awards format

In response to feedback, we will award our Legends Ranking Series prizes for children earlier and throughout the awards ceremony, in order to allow attendees to make a sharp exit from the event, to allow for their onward travel home.

Year of the Young Person - Inspirational Athlete Panel

In celebration of the young achievers in our sport, we are delighted to have four young athletes to talk about their sporting journey and achievements. The panel includes Marc Austin (2018 Commonwealth Games bronze medal winner), Erin Wallace (2018 Commonwealth Games athlete and World Junior Championships Silver medallist), Sophia Green (travelling reserve for 2018 Commonwealth Games) and Calum Young (10th Youth Olympic Games).
